WATERLOO - Beverly J. Hyke, 81, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 28, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born April 9, 1930, in Mitchell County, daughter of Harold and Jessie Carter Aspel. She married Charles Hyke Feb. 23, 1952 in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; four daughters, Beverly Ann of Waterloo, Judith L. (Steve) McBride of Colfax, Deborah (Joe) Purdy of Cedar Falls and Sharon (Tommy) Vieth of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Justin, Jessica (Bailey Dannels) and Joshua McBride, and Megan and Tiffany Olmstead; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron McBride, Destiny McBride-Dannels and Cayden Kressley.

Preceded in death by a sister, Doris Ellis.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Queen Of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
