WATERLOO - Guan E. Gilmore, 47, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Allen Hospital.

He was born July 29, 1964, in Alabaster, Ala., son of William and Carolyn Gilmore Green. He married Brenda Apfel June 21, 1999, in Waterloo.

Mr. Gilmore was employed with DCS and various other jobs until becoming disabled.

Survived by his wife of West Union; five sons, Guan E. Jr. Taylor and Kenneth Taylor, both of Chicago, and Michael Pendelton, Devin Pendelton and Daniel Pendelton, all of Waterloo; six daughters, Valencia Jiggets, Priness Jiggets, Destine Taylor and Dabriele Taylor, all of Chicago, Jazmyn Wikert of Shell Rock, and Ashley Apfel of Waterloo; and two sisters, Terri Green and April L. Green, both of Chicago.

Preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Deidra Taylor; and a brother, Kenneth T. Green.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 428 Conger St., where they will receive friends.
