Delrose “Rose” Bisbee, 63, of Cedar Falls died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. Rose was born September 3, 1943 at La Porte City, Iowa, the daughter of Everett & Elsie (Bryson) Stocks.

She married James I. Bisbee October 27, 1962 at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Rose was a day care provider in her home for many years.

Survivors include her husband, James “Jim” Bisbee of Cedar Falls; three sons, Tom (Kelly) Bisbee of Des Moines, Iowa, Steve Bisbee of Cedar Falls, Scot (Michelle) Bisbee of Waterloo; one daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Curtis of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, one great grandson; three brothers, Don (Maxine) Stocks of Springdale, Arkansas, Jim “J.R.” (Mary) Stocks of Des Moines, Lester (Carol) Stocks of Apache Junction, Arizona; and three sisters, Sarah Bast of Evansdale, Dorothy (Ken) Hack of Weslaco, Texas and Barb (Lonnie) Richards of Waterloo.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles Stocks; and two sisters, Betty Hemenway and Juanita Morgan.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church with inurnment at a later date in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church.

Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
