CEDAR FALLS - Ruth R. Kienzle, 84, of NewAldaya Lifescapes, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 27, 1927, in Beulah, N.D., daughter of Jacob and Magdalena Sailer Teske. She married Irving O. Kienzle on Dec. 23, 1955, in Bismarck, N.D. He died April 9, 2007.

Mrs. Kienzle was a homemaker, worked at Ressler Cafe in Bismarck for many years, was a maid at various motels and did housecleaning.

Ruth enjoyed needlework, baking and cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survived by two daughters, Kim D. (Robert) Sasse of Montana and Terry L. (Craig) Sage of Waterloo; a brother, Calvin (Marion) Teske of Washington state; two sisters, Ilene (Bob) Boeckel of Bismarck and Ardena Aldrin of North Dakota; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Herbert, Richard, Theohil and Reinholdt Teske; and three sisters, Olga Wolf, Elsie Jaeger and Tillie Wedrick-Oster.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 1 p.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
