Shirley Louise Morse Blair, 85, of Loveland, Colo., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, from metastasized colon cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle E. "Gene" Blair.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Blair (Janice); daughter Barbara Giesey (Bryce); three grandchildren, Sunny Tartaglia (Michael), Megan Bost (Paul) and Matthew Blair; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Fairview Cemetery, 12th Street, Cedar Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shirley M. Blair Memorial Fund in care of Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80538 or to a charity/service organization of your choice.

A reception will be held following the services in the Deery Room at the Oster Regent Theatre, Cedar Falls.
