MOSHER, PETERSEN, MEYER, LALK, BLEEKER

WATERLOO - Anna "Ann" D. Mosher, 81, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 14, at Windhaven of Western Home Communities of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 10, 1930, in Reinbeck, daughter of Herman and Dora Petersen Meyer, and Anni Meyer, her stepmother who raised her. She married Donald C. Mosher June 4, 1950, in Waterloo.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1949. She worked at Woolworth's and Iowa Public Service, and later the couple farmed in Aurora, Maynard and Sumner, retiring to Waterloo in 1990. Mrs. Mosher was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church and past Deaconess.

Survived by her husband of Cedar Falls; two sons, Steven H. of Sumner and Larry C. (Vonda) of Bondurant; a daughter, Nancy E. (James) Lalk of Sumner; seven grandchildren, Brian Mosher of Dallas, Angela (Blaine) Ferguson of Edmonton, AB, Canada, Bradley (Sarah) Lalk and Carrie Lalk, all of Waterloo, Christopher Mosher of Ankeny and Joshua and Isaac Mosher, both of Bondurant; five great-grandchildren, Lillian, Lydia and Lance Ferguson, and Lucas and Tate Lalk; and a sister-in-law, Gerda Petersen of Chicago.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Terry Lynn Mosher; a half sister, Dora Bleeker; and a half brother, Werner Petersen.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, Waterloo, with burial in Union Mound Cemetery, Sumner. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
