WATERLOO - Hazel A. Buehler, 91, of Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, died there Saturday, Oct. 1, of natural causes.

She was born April 14, 1920, in Lawler, daughter of Andrew and Sadie G. Johnson Urness. She married Glenn L. Buehler on June 4, 1940 in Lawler. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1990.

Mrs. Buehler was employed as an instructor at Powers Manufacturing for 25 years, before retiring. She was a longtime member of TOPS and First Lutheran Church.

Survived by two sons, Kenneth G. (Kay) of Ferryville, Wis., and Kevin A. (Janet Collins) of Waterloo; two daughters, Shirley J. (James) Duffy and Shari L. Brackin, both of Nampa, Idaho; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Andrew (Jane) Urness of St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Donna Waltz of Elk Run Heights; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son-in-law, Gerry Brackin; and three sisters, Alice Daily, Norma Kerr and Lois Anderson.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Garden View Chapel and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
