WATERLOO - Robert Bernard "Bob" McMahon, 85, of Waterloo, died Monday, Sept. 26.

He was born Aug. 22, 1926, in rural Greeley, son of Bert and Gertrude Hogan McMahon. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Leesekamp on May 9, 1953, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade.

Mr. McMahon was employed as a branch manager for Means Services, retiring in 1989.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Shelly (Dan) Kuchera of Waterloo; and three grandchildren, Brenton, Hallie and Eliott Kuchera, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by an infant son; two sisters, Helen Burbridge and Kathryn Phillips; and two brothers, Martin and Harold.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at St. Edward Catholic Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Bob was a volunteer at Waterloo Cemetery and also for RSVP. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, where he ushered for more than 40 years.
