Funeral services for Harry Enos Wilson, age 83, were held at the Trinity American Lutheran Church on Monday, September 13, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. William Thalacker officiating. Casket bearers were Denny Ings, Jr., Michael Wilson, Ben Wilson, Steve Wilson, Jamie Wilson, and Todd Wilson. Honorary casket bearers were
Robert Gilson and Jeff Wilson. Interment was at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa.

Harry Enos Wilson, son of Harry P. and Josie M. (Scott) Wilson, was born September 26, 1915 in Arlington, Iowa. He married Irene Orvetta Franck on April 23, 1938 in Manchester, Iowa. In the early years of their marriage they lived in the Manchester and Strawberry Point, Iowa areas. Harry was employed as a machinist for the John Deere Company for 26 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Trinity American Lutheran Church and the United Auto Workers Local 838.

Harry Enos Wilson died Septembert 8, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Irene who died October 11, 1996; a son Ronald Lee Wilson, 2 daughters, Sharon Irene Wilson and Virginia Janis Wilson, and one grandson, Michael Robinson.

Harry is survived by his 6 sons, Jim Wilson, Jerry Wilson, and Bruce Wilson, all of Waterloo, Iowa, Wayne Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri, Mark Wilson of Evansdale, Iowa and Randy Wilson of New Hartford, Iowa; 5 daughters, Barbara Gilson of Raymond, Iowa, Carmen Quigley, Faye Dostart, and Susan Bebee all of Waterloo, Iowa and Jo Ellen Ungs of Fredericksburg, Iowa; 45 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wayne Wilson of Oelwein, Iowa and Eugene Wilson of Newton, Iowa and 3 sisters, Nellie Shepard of Waterloo, Iowa, Janis Yeoman of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Marjorie Williams of California.
