WATERLOO - Patricia K. "Pat" Haley, 56, of Waterloo, died Friday, Aug. 26, at University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

She was born Jan. 11, 1955, in Waterloo, daughter of Dale B. and Rose M. Fosselman Haley.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1973 and received her B.A. in early childhood elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa. She was a part-time cashier at the Waterloo Wal-Mart for many years. She was a kindergarten teacher with Sunnyside Temple Christian School, Grin N Grow Pre-School and Daycare, and SonRise Christian School, and was a para educator at Highland Elementary School.

Survived by four brothers, Larry of Poplar Grove, Ill., Mike and Dennis (Sheila), all of Waterloo, and Tom (Rachel) of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Dianne of Cedar Falls and Annette (Dan) Wilson of Pendleton, S.C.; 22 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joseph; two sisters, Kathleen Pint and Linda Fuller; and a great-nephew, Anthony Turner.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Valley Community Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Pat was a former Volunteer of the Year at the Boys & Girls Club of Waterloo and Choir Member of the Year at Cedar Valley Community Church. Her ministry focus was music and teaching young minds.
