CEDAR FALLS - Maxine Lila Salsbury, 95, of Western Home Communities, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born at home in Dougherty, daughter of Richard Buss and Myrtle Annis Tucker Funnell. She married Jesse William Salsbury in Hampton. He died March 26, 1992.

Mrs. Salsbury was employed at Farner Bocken Distributing for 15 years, retiring in 1981.

Survived by a daughter, Joan (Tom) Habetler of Lone Tree, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy McCoy; a grandson, Cory Leach; three sisters, Leone, Thelma and Alice; three brothers, Orville, Charles and Robert Funnell; and a son-in-law, Milt McCoy.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Montpelier Cemetery, Patterson.

Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls.
