CEDAR FALLS - Ione M. Zach, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, July 29, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center.

She was born Feb. 15, 1920, in Lamont, daughter of George F. and Hazel I. Arnold Rieger. She married William R. Zach Oct. 27, 1945, in Cedar Falls. He died July 26, 2005.

She was employed with the University of Northern Iowa as supervisor of housekeeping, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by five sisters, Ann Kent, Margaret Sandell, Alice Swartz Sr. (Esther) Mercedes, O.S.F and Ila in infancy; and six brothers, John, Hubert, Edward, Joseph, Patrick Rieger and George in infancy.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Western Home Communities Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation will he held for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
