HUDSON, IOWA - Genevieve "Genny" Trimble, 81, of Hudson, died Wednesday, July 13, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of respiratory failure.

She was born July 17, 1929, in Corydon, daughter of William and Blanche Allison Sharp. She married Harold Trimble on July 31, 1947, in Chariton. He died Nov. 19, 2002.

Mrs. Trimble graduated from Corydon High School. She had worked for Red's Body Shop and had been a sample demonstrator for various stores in the area. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Hudson, Red Hat Society "Hatitudes," Hobby Club and Reinbeck Saddle Club.

Survived by two sons, Kerry (Kathy) and Ken (Dawn), both of Waterloo; a daughter, Lana Trimble of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren, Katie, Kallie, Tina, Todd, Tara, Kendra, Lisa, Laura, Jay and Wesley; and 12 great-grandchildren, Kory, Jenifer, Michaela, Austin, Nathan, Alexis, Alyssa, Emily, Tracker, Clare, Jillian and Brenner.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Max and Rex Sharp.
