Funeral services are held Friday for Paul H. Patton, 73

Funeral services for Paul H. Patton, 73, of 322 S. Washington, Hudson, were held Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, Blessing, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Patton died Tuesday, March 9 at Parkview Gardens Care Center, Waterloo, after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 30, 1919 in Mason City, the son of Guy and Elizabeth Leisman Patton. He married Nina G. Brunson on January 16, 1942 in Waterloo.

Mr. Patton served with the U. S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He was in the grocery business in the waterloo are for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Susan Shelton, Vickie Ingamells, Allison Volker and Patty Blockhus, all of Hudson; and grandchildren*

Full military rites were conducted. Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home of Waterloo was in charge of arrangements.
