CEDAR FALLS - Rajeane Rube, 71, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, June 30, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of complications of pulmonary hypertension.

She was born Feb. 10, 1940, in Jesup, daughter of LeRoy and Doris Krause Donaldson. She married Roger H. Rube on May 9, 1959, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He died June 5, 2007.

Mrs. Rube graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1958. She worked at Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and Professional Management, Inc., for 19 years.

Survived by a son, Michael (Amy) of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Jennifer (Irvin) Laube of Traer; two grandchildren, Mallory and Tyler Laube; a brother, Gary (Sandy) Donaldson of Waterloo; two sisters, Jane (Gene) Graham of Cedar Falls and Charlene (Glenn) Beckman of Waterloo; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the church, Pulmonary Hypertension Association or Cedar Valley Hospice.
