Lawrence Robert Nolan 1925-2004

Lawrence Nolan Sr., 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., died there Thursday, April 22, 2004. He was a retired meat packer for Rath Packing Co. and a Marine veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be in Iowa; arrangements under the direction of Edward Funeral Home, Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Viola; two sons, Lawrence Nolan Jr. of Muldrow, Okla., and David Nolan of Aspen, Colo.; one brother, Ernie Nolan of Waterloo; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Lawrence Robert Nolan was born August 2, 1925, the son of Eugene Francis Nolan and Florence Ruth (Storey). He married Viola Catherine Hickey, the daughter of Clyde Hickey and Angela (Wolf) Hickey. His parents are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Black Hawk, Iowa.
