Services for Karl J. Klemz, 83, who died Tuesday at Ravenwood Care Center, will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in rural Denver; burial in church cemetery; survivors include three sons, Floyd and Roger, both of Waterloo, and Donald of Darien, Ill.; a daughter, Lorraine Payne of Chicago, Ill.; and 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 11 a.m Friday at Cleveland Funeral Home in Denver.

Karl and his 1st wife are both buried in Saint Pauls Church Cemetery, Black Hawk, Iowa

His second wife was Angela M. (Wolf) Hickey, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Thome) Wolf. Minnesota Records show their marriage date as September 2, 1961 in Fillmore County.

Angela (Wolf) Hickey Klemz was born February 24, 1904 in Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. She died September 16, 1978. Her first husband was Clyde Hickey.
