KING, NORCROSS, BRANDENBURG, ANNETT, BUCK

CEDAR FALLS - McKinley W. "Mac" King, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, June 27, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Kamrar, son of Moroni and Mable Norcross King. He married Margaret Brandenburg on Sept. 23, 1944, in Harvey, Ill.

Mr. King served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He drove trucks for Benton's Concrete, Cedar Falls, and Jensen Transportation, Independence, retiring in 1985.

Survived by his wife; three sons, Timothy (Marlene) of Cedar Falls, Christopher of Keota and Martin of Texas; two daughters, Sandra (Frank) Annett of Unionville, Mo., and Nancy (Stephen) Buck of Eureka, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Kyle) Duster, Kristi Annett, Amanda (Paul) Burger, Angela Annett, Heather (Jon) Vandewater, Tracy King, Jason (Berndette) Buck and Jennifer (Sam) Diaz; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Clifford, Keith, Buster and Richard.

Memorial services: were 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, with inurnment in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Richardson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the church.
