WATERLOO - Scott R. Johnson, 51, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 26, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home after a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec. 30, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Clifford N. and Ardith Garling Johnson. He married Sherrilyn R. "Sherri" Brown on Feb. 14, 1986, in Waterloo.

Mr. Johnson was employed as a department manager at the Waterloo Wal-Mart for 14 years.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Eric (Jen) Johnson and Justin Muir, both of Waterloo; five daughters, Tina Schellhorn of Elk Run Heights, Tiffanie (Andy Skiles) Garcia of Waterloo, Tianna (Steven) Kelley of Fayetteville, N.C., Tinneal Gutnecht of Creston and Michele Young of Mount Vernon; 11 grandchildren; his mother of Waterloo; and two brothers, Jeffrey "Jeff" (Sue) of Moore, Okla., and Gregory (Diane) of Yukon, Okla.;

Preceded in death by his father.

Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, preceded by two hours of visitation. His body was cremated.
