Scott O. Stoffregen was born November 4, 1958 in Cedar Falls, Iowa the son of Orville and Lorraine (Fuller) Stoffregen. He married Sara Hansen November 4, 1984 in Waverly, Iowa. Scott was a truck driver for Omega Cabinets in Waterloo, Iowa. He died Saturday, June 10, 2000 at the age of 41 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sara, of Plainfield, Iowa; two sons, Zach of Cedar Rapids and Tanner at home; two daughters, Amanda and Lindsey, both at home; and two stepdaughters, Jamee and Casee, both at home; his mother, Lorraine Escher of Cedar Falls, and three sister, Diane Caley of Lawton, Iowa, Joan Pedelty of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Marsha Wilkens of Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death his father and his stepfather, Dick Escher.

Memorial services were 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2000 at First Baptist Church with a private inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Scott Stoffregen Memorial Fund established for his children at Wells Fargo Bank.
