OBITUARY:Regina Lynn Elliott-Gibson, 49, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.
She was born October 10, 1959 in Waterloo, the daughter of Kenneth and Joyce (Jody) L. (Thomas) Elliott. Regina graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1978.
She married John Wach November 19, 1988 in Cedar Falls and they were later divorced. She married Linwood “Will” Gibson August 2, 2003 in Oaks, Oklahoma. Regina worked for EPI in Waterloo for many years. Presently she was working for Oaks Indian Mission and Leach School in Oklahoma.
Regina is survived by her husband, Will; one son, Nicholas Elliott of Waterloo, one daughter, Mikayla Elliott-Wach at home; her parents, Kenneth and Jody Elliott of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Tony Elliott of Appleton, Wisconsin and Todd Elliott of Waterloo; one niece, Courtney Elliott and two nephews, Matthew and Scott Elliott. Several uncles and aunts and many cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls and burial will be at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 6, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services on Friday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
