WATERLOO - Myrna Shaner, 87, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 9, at Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls.

She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Robertson, daughter of Lloyd and Golda Smith Shaner.

She was a cashier at Bishop's Cafeteria for 39 years, retiring in 1986.

Survived by a niece, Glenda Clayes of Castro Valley, Calif.; a nephew, Ron of Fresno, Calif.; a great-niece, Aimee of Fresno; and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Charles Meyers; a brother, Glen V.; and a sister-in-law, Pearl.

Services: Per her request her body was cremated. There will be no visitation or services. Graveside services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
