WATERLOO - Mary Lee Anderson, 68, of Waterloo, died Thursday, June 2, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born April 21, 1943, in Greenwood, Miss., daughter of Timothy Jr. and Estella Walls Bishop. She married Uleese Anderson in 1961 in Waterloo. They later divorced.

She graduated from Waterloo East High School and received her LPN degree from Hawkeye Community College. She was an LPN at Sartori Hospital, Cedar Falls and Allen Hospital in Waterloo, until retirement.

Survived by two sons, Dennis (Peggy) and Demetrius (Janae), both of Waterloo; a daughter, Debbie of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Walterine Bishop of Memphis, Tenn., Kathy Bishop of South Holland, Ill., and Maxcine Keller of Waterloo.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark Baptist Church, with burial in Shaulis Road Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Greer Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to 316 E. Seventh St., Waterloo 50703, where the family will receive friends.
