WATERLOO - Jacqueline Y. "Babe" Roberts, 76, of Minneapolis, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, May 27, at University of Minnesota Hospitals.

She was born March 10, 1935, in Iowa City, daughter of Cleave and Adeline Moore Nolan Sr., and was raised by her Grandfather and Grandmother Moore. She married William Roberts Sr., and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Robert was employed at John Deere and Rath Packing Co. for many years.

Survived by four siblings, Ruth Brown, Beatrice Reynolds, Cleave Nolan of Milwaukee, and Leroy Powell; an uncle, Tommy Moore of St. Paul, Minn.; 11 children, Vorotta Johnson, Hiram Junior Johnson, Henry Johnson (Cecilia), William L. Junior, Gayle Alexander and Thad Roberts, all of Waterloo, Kim (Eric) Cunningham of Minneapolis, Rodney Lewis Roberts of Hopkins, Minn., Lisa Roberts and Anita K. Fristo (Clyde), both of Des Moines, and Sheryl Means of Milwaukee; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by six siblings, Gladys Thomas, Harry Robertson, Classon Nolan, Cathleen Culp, Robert Diaz and Larry Nolan; and two great-grandchildren, Adonis Hill Jr. and Donnisha Hill.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sanders Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 1902 Newell St., where they will receive friends.
