WATERLOO - Frenchie L. Campbell, 61, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 16, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 29, 1949, in Marianna, Ark., son of Will F. Sr. and Mulinda Walker Campbell. He married Linda Smith in Waterloo. They later divorced. He then married Janice Wade in 2009 in Waterloo.

He was formerly employed with Chamberlain, Titus Manufacturing and John Deere.

Survived by his wife; his father, Will F. of Waterloo; a son, Christopher (Jamie) of Waterloo; six sisters, Gertrude (Willie) McKissick of Palestine, Ark., and Rose Mary Bradford, Christine, Earline Micou, Shirley (Robert) Bruce and Linda (Leon), all of Waterloo; two brothers, the Rev. Willie D. (Tammy) and John L. (Janet), all of Waterloo; and a granddaughter.

Preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Jessie; maternal grandparents, Jessie and Elnora Walker; and paternal grandparents, John and Susie Campbell.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Union Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Public visitation 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 1674 Woodmeyer Drive, Waterloo, where they will be receiving friends.
