H.W. Potter Called By Death

Herman W. Potter, aged 67 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F.J. McClintock, in Waterloo, at 10 o'clock Monday night, Sept. 3, following an illness of considerable duration. He was taken ill several months ago and went to Iowa City for treatment, but physicians were unable to afford relief and he was removed to the home of his daughter at Waterloo, where gradually failed until death came as a relief to his sufferings.

He is survived by his wife, the daughter mentioned above, a son, Emery, of Plainfield, and a step-son, Guy Boice of Nashua, and one brother, H.O. Potter, of Nashua.

Deceased was born in New York state, coming to Iowa many years ago and farmed for some time near Horton. For many years he had been a resident of Nashua.

Undertaker Lundt went to Waterloo Tuesday and brought the body to Nashua.

Funeral services will be held at the Congregational Church Wednesday at 2
p.m., and interment will be in the Horton Cemetery.
