CEDAR FALLS - Bonnie Mae Adams, 82, of Garden Grove, Calif., formerly of Cedar Falls, died March 10.

She was born April 3, 1928, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Oscar and Eva Comer Johnson. She married Richard "Dick" Adams on Oct. 7, 1950, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Adams graduated from Cedar Falls High School and after completing business training, moved to Santa Monica, Calif., and worked as a bank teller at Security National Bank. She later was the accountant for the family business, Adams Marine and Towboat Service.

Survived by her husband; two sons, John and Rick (Bobbie); three daughters, Sharon, Nikki (Tom) and Joan (Reed); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Berwyn (Marlys) Johnson of Cedar Falls; and a sister-in-law, Gretchen (Adams) Johnson.

Preceded in death by a three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Oscar Jr. and Annette Johnson, Gerald and Janet Johnson and Stan Johnson.

Memorial services were March 18 at Christ Lutheran Church, Orange, Calif.
