WATERLOO - Dixie Ann Kelly, 64, of Waterloo, died Monday, April 11, at Country View care center.

She was born Oct. 16, 1946, in Waterloo, daughter of Cecil and Clara Hebel Nelson. She married James Kelly in August 1972. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kelly worked as a keypunch operator and also volunteered at the Waterloo Public Library.

Survived by a son, Jimmy of Waterloo; her mother of Waterloo; two sisters, Cindy Nelson of Waterloo and Karen Freshwater of Las Vegas; and a brother, Larry Nelson of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her father.

Dixie died peacefully. She enjoyed music and reading, and loved her family and cats

Services 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
