WATERLOO - Martha M. Kleiner, 77, of Waterloo, died Thursday, March 31, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Waverly, daughter of Lorenz and Eula Hanna Schwerin. She married James E. Kleiner April 21, 1952, in Waverly.

Survived by her husband; four sons, Ed (Stephanie) of Waterloo, Greg (Lelia) of Wildwood, Mo., Mike (LeeAnn) of New Hartford and Dale (Paula) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Barb (Mike) Mostek of Jesup; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Frazer of Hazelton.

Preceded in death by: a grandson; a brother, Donald Schwerin; and a sister, Pauline Yates.

Martha was a den mother with Cub Scout Pack 124, treasurer of the Lafayette School PTA, a volunteer with the Red Cross, Meals on Wheels at Bunger School and Sacs on 7th.

Services 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Zion Cemetery, Sumner. Public visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
