Douglas J. Pike, 60, of Waterloo, died Saturday, morning September 20 at Covenant Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 9, 1948 in San Jose, CA the son of Dillard J. and Delores J. Andrews Pike. He married Karla Kay Smith Clark on August 19, 1977 in Waterloo.

Doug was a machinist and machine operator for Power Engineering and Manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife, 1 son; Dean A. Clark of Frederika, 1 daughter; Kelli R. (Brian) Pekios of Davenport, 1 sister; Dena J. (Mondo) Doreme of California, and 1 grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Dillard J. Pike and David Jesse Pike in infancy, and 1 sister; Jeanne Anne Pike.

Services 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2008 11:00 AM, Mausoleum at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 3669 Logan Ave Waterloo, Iowa.
