WATERLOO — Ralph A. "Rocky" Buege, 73, of Waterloo, died Saturday, March 19, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.

He was born July 3, 1937, in Waukon, son of Elmer G. and Pearl N. Darling Buege. He married Gwen J. Bukatz on Dec. 2, 1962, in Waterloo.

Mr. Buege served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He worked at Rath Packing Co. for 10 years, Chamberlain Manufacturing for 25 years as a machinist, then retired from Ohler Pump after 10 years of service. He was past chairman of the Chamberlain Credit Union board.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Toler of Dallas and Kelly (Skip) Johnson of Waterloo; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother of Waukon; and a brother, Alvin of Waukon.

Preceded in death by a brother, Raymond.

Private family services Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by cremation.
