WATERLOO - Paul J. Standiford Jr., 50, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 16.

He was born Oct. 12, 1960, in Waterloo, son of Paul J. Sr. and Zona G. Peterson Standiford. He married Janet Sturgeon Feb. 25, 1983, in Waterloo. They later divorced.

He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1979. He was employed with Iowa Drywall Systems for many years and was involved in construction in the Waterloo area all his life.

Survived by a son, Matthew of Cedar Falls; his mother of Janesville; two sisters, Kelly (John) Moran of Independence and Brenda (Ron) Sivigny of Oak Grove, Minn.; many nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Lebecca Appleby of Waterloo.

Memorial service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Public visitation will held for two hours before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
