CEDAR FALLS - Marilyn E. Rasmussen, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, March 11, at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center in Cedar Falls.

She was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Nashua, daughter of Daniel and Ethel Albaugh McGrath. She married Donald Rasmussen Oct. 4, 1980, at Nazareth Lutheran Church.

She graduated from New Hampton High School in 1945. She worked for GMAC, retiring in 1990.

Survived by her husband; a son, Daniel Walters of Sparta, Wis.; four daughters, Sue Rodgers of Tucson, Ariz., Julianne (Steve) Tyler of Memphis, Tenn., Janet (Lorne) Bidwell of Cedar Falls and Amy Walters of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gerald (Rose) McGrath of Wauwatosa, Wis., and Gene McGrath of New Hampton.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Burke, Bob and Merle McGrath.

Services 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
