Funeral services were held for Leon Edward Weber of Waterloo, Iowa at the Parrot-Wood Funeral Home with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo, Iowa. The Rev. George Karnik conducted the services which were held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 28. Military rites were conducted by the Waterloo Post 1623 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Becker-Chapman Post 138 American Legion.

Leon Edward Weber, age 65, of Waterloo, Iowa died Thursday, October 24, 1991 at Cedar Falls Health Care Center of cancer. He was born October 1, 1926 in Garnavillo, Iowa, Clayton County, son of Emil and Eliza (Vorwald) Weber. Mr. Weber was a commercial and industrial painter. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Lisa, Bev, and Maureece of Waterloo, Iowa and Diane of Dubuque, Iowa; 3 sons, Mark Weber of Waterloo, Iowa, Mike Weber of Norfolk, Nebraska, and Jim Weber of Dubuque, Iowa; his mother, Eliza Weber of Garnavillo, Iowa; 2 sisters, Patricia Schneider of Sparland, Illinois and Shirley Swisher of Garnavillo, Iowa; and 1 brother, Robert Weber of Anamosa, Iowa.
