ELK RUN HEIGHTS - Terry T. Loftus, 59, of Elk Run Heights, died Monday, Feb. 21, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Tom and Eunice Butts Loftus. He married Betty Kammerdiner on Aug. 3, 1988, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

Mr. Loftus was employed with John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 30 years, retiring in 2000.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Steve of Waterloo and Chris (Ivory) of Evansdale; three daughters, Audrey (Dale) Steffen of Dunkerton, Lori Beckner of Evansdale and Sheila (Christopher) Lieb of Poggio, Italy; seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Justin, Melanie, Daniel, Jacob, Madison and Haley; two great-granddaughters, Ny-Areeyah and Ny-Kerra; three brothers, Ed, Kenny (Sharon) and Larry (Cheri), all of Evansdale; two sisters, Kay Knebel of Elk Run Heights and Nancy (Paul) Jungen of Evansdale; a brother-in-law, Clayton Phillips; and a sister-in-law, Jan Ahlhelm.

Preceded in death by a brother, Mike; a sister, Patsy Phillips; a brother-in-law, Lug Knebel; and two sisters-in-law, Barb and Lois Loftus.

Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, Waterloo, preceded by two hours of visitation.

Memorials may be directed to the family for memorialization at the Jesup golf course.
