EVANSDALE - Katherine S. "Kay" Stultz, 90, of Evansdale, died Monday, Feb. 21, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born July 6, 1920, in Simonswolde, Germany, daughter of Berend J. and Grace deBerg deVries. She married Harry R. Stultz on May 2, 1950, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He died May 15, 1969.

Mrs. Stultz graduated from Hazel Park High School, Hazel Park, Mich., in 1938. She worked as a pharmacy assistant for many years at the Rexall Drug Store, Waterloo. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Evansdale.

Survived by a son, the Rev. Harry (Florene) Stultz of Allegan, Mich.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ora (Donald) Cyrus of Perry, Mich., and Lora (Paul) Kowal of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Tom and Jack deVries.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
