Funeral services for Mary Gibson, 86, early day resident of Hudson, who died at her home there Monday, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Brethren Church at Hudson. Prayer services at the home at 2 p.m. will precede the church services. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.

Grandsons of Mrs. Gibson will be pallbearers. They will be: Floyd S. Gibson, Pearl H. Gibson, Charles W. Cummiing, John S. Cumming, Roger G. Brees and Lloyd G. Klinefelter.

Mary Frances Whaylen-Gibson is daughter of Charles Patrick Whaylen and Mary Corrigan and sister of Andrew M. Whaylen. She was born Sep. 6, 1841 in New York and died Apr. 25, 1927, Black Hawk County. She married Samuel Boyd Gibson on January 31, 1861 in Black Hawk County, Iowa.
