WATERLOO - Helen G. Moore, 91, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Friendship Village Med Center.

She was born April 24, 1919, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Grace Thompson Martin. She married Stanley D. Moore Jr. Aug. 26, 1939, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waterloo. He died Nov. 30, 1969.

She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in 1936, and was a bookkeeper for various volunteer organizations.

Survived by a son, Ronald of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Moore.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Monday at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to St. Vincent DePaul or St. Edward Catholic Church.

Helen was a very charitable person. She volunteered with RSVP. She was an active bridge player and member of the American Contract Bridge League.
