WATERLOO — James M. Kreger, 60, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Friday, Feb. 4.

He was born June 20, 1950, in Waterloo, son of Merlin and Marguerite Kreger. He married Nancy Breuer on June 20, 1975, in Waterloo.

Mr. Kreger graduated from Columbus High School and from St. Mary's University, Winona, Minn., where he chartered the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He also earned his master's degree in international business from Regis University, Denver, Colo. He worked for the Archdiocese of Denver, Colo., as director of risk management.

Survived by his wife; a son, Mickey of Durango, Colo.; a daughter, Jennifer of Laramie, Wyo.; his mother of Waterloo; a brother, Bill (Mary) of Evansdale; and his father-in-law, W.P. Breuer of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his father; and his mother-in-law, Marcella Breuer.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Raymond. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Monday at the church.
