SON OF RICEVILLE WOMAN DIES OF ACCIDENTAL BURNS

Riceville – Funeral services for Robert Moore, 22, son of Mrs. Lester Patterson, Riceville were Tuesday in O’Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Moore suffered fatal burns in an accident at the Chamberlain Corp., in Waterloo and died Friday. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo.

Moore died in a hospital where his wife was recuperating from the birth of their first child, a son, who was born January 3, his father’s 22nd Birthday.

He was married April 13, 1960, to Beverly Patten in Waterloo, and the couple had lived there since their marriage.

He is survived by his wife and infant son, his mother, Mrs. Martha Patterson and a sister Judith, Riceville, and a brother, Ronald, who is with the Army in Anchorage, Alaska. His father preceded him in death in 1946.
