Samuel DeRousse, 1903-1950

SAMUEL DeROUSSE

Funeral services were being planned for Samuel DeRousse, 47, of 1615 Plymouth Street, who died at St. Francis Hospital at 10:45 a.m. Monday. Death was attributed to complications following surgery.

He was born November 9, 1903, at Shenandoah, Ia., the son of John and Emma Morris DeRousse. He married Edna Luloff, September 24, 1926, at Jesup, Ia. He had been a resident of Waterloo for 18 years, coming here from Detroit, Michigan.

An employee of the Rath Packing Co., he is survived by his parents, John, at Byron, Ill.; Emma DeRousse, at East Detroit, Mich.; his wife; two sons, Dale and Layton, at home; two brothers, George and Harry, both of Detroit; one sister, Mrs. Vesper Kirks, East Detroit.
The body is at Kearns Garden Chapel.
