WATERLOO - James R. Behan, 75, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 20, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center of natural causes.

He was born May 25, 1935, in Chicago, son of Michael and Vivian Anderson Behan. He married Roxann Hopper Dec. 19, 1981, in Waterloo.

Mr. Behan was an electrician at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 35 years, and raised and showed Arabian horses.

Survived by: his wife; and two sisters, Anne (Ed) Bigus and Mary (Lee) Jasecki, both of Chicago.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Wilma; and a brother, Michael.

Memorial visitation: noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at UAW Hall 838, Waterloo. His body has been cremated. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball is in charge of arrangements.
