WATERLOO - Pearl Eliason, 86, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 17, at Allen Hospital of pneumonia.

She was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Forest City, daughter of Leonard and Edna Jacobson Klipping. She married Robert Eliason on Nov. 14, 1942, in Bethany, Mo. He died July 20, 1996.

Survived by: three daughters, Jean (Loren) Necker and Janet Eckenrod, both of Sumner, and Kathy (Rex) Kalvig of Ionia; a son, Gary (Karen) of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Marvin (Reta) Klipping of Britt; and two sisters, Mary Church of Forest City and Joanne (Melvin) Symes of Mason City.

Preceded in death by: six brothers; and three sisters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home.
