WATERLOO - Margaret Winona Morris, 95, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born July 15, 1915 in Norwoodville, daughter of Allen Eli and Inda Inez McVay Warrick. She married Thomas Albert Morris Nov. 21, 1933 in Newton. He died Feb. 6, 1975.

The couple settled in Waterloo in 1939, where they raised their family. She sold Avon for many years.

Survived by: a son, Jerry L.; a son-in-law, Morris Sackett; two granddaughters, Kami (Thomas) Bell and Keri (Jonathan) Ortman, both of Waterloo; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlan Sackett, Coy Bell, Holly Ortman and Ky Ortman, all of Waterloo; and a great-great-granddaughter, Madison Stewart of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: an infant son, Thomas Robert; a daughter, Rita Kay Sackett; and five brothers, Bob, Jim, Clyde, Carey and Frank.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Monday at the chapel. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

She loved to knit, crochet and sew and her apple pies were the best.
