Victoria Jane Teetzen, age 36, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, her daughter's 5th birthday, of natural causes, under the care of Country View Care Center, Waterloo, and Cedar Valley Hospice.

Vicki was born July 8, 1974, the daughter of Joel and Jane (Anderson) Teetzen in Green Bay, Wis. She attended Lombardi Middle School, Southwest High School and Denver High School.

Vicki was happiest when she was spending time with her family. Whether it was for holidays or other family gatherings, as long as she was with her family she was happy. She adored her daughter Tyanna more than anything in the world.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Tyanna; parents, Joel and Jane Teetzen of Denver; sister, Laura Anderson of Denver; uncle and aunt (godparents), Peter and Carol Anderson of Eau Claire, Wis.; uncle and aunt, Tom and Kathy Anderson of Green Bay, Wis.; niece, Xandrea; nephews, Deighton and Samuel; numerous cousins; and paternal grandmother, Lula Teetzen of Shawano, Wis.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Sam Teetzen (2005); paternal grandfather, Orville Teetzen; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Wilma Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Denver, with Pastor Victoria Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Denver. Visitation will be held today, Jan. 13, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver, where family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
