WATERLOO — Wayne E. Norton, 62, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Jan. 2, at home of natural causes.

He was born July 14, 1948, in Chicago, son of Henry and Vivian Guimon Norton.

He graduated from Dundee Crown High School in Carpentersville, Ill. He was a carpenter working construction with Pella Windows, S & J Construction, and as a handyman. He also was an over-the-road semi-truck driver.

Survived by: a daughter, Hollie Bjornsen of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Dean of Waterloo and Dennis (Leesa) of Algonquin, Ill.; two sisters, Marie (Chuck) Warren of Carpentersville, and Nadine Kobus of Bellevue, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother-in-law, Edward Kobus.

Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with family inurnment at a later date. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.

Wayne loved carpentry work, golfing and hunting
