Former Cresco
Resident Dies
at Minneapolis

Cresco—Word has been received here of the death of Myron Converse, 72, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, formerly of Cresco. Mr. Converse died in a Minneapolis hospital Wednesday following an illness of virus pneumonia.

Burial will be at Hudson at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Reverend Virgil Meyer, pastor of the First Brethren Church at Waterloo will officiate at the graveside service.

Mr. Converse was born near Cresco, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Converse. Before moving to Minneapolis he was engaged in the real estate and insurance business here.

He is survived by his widow and two sons, Clarence of Los Angeles, California, and Leonard who lives in Washington State. He has one brother, the Reverend Charles Converse, Walla Walla, North Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Clarence Coon, Cherokee.

He was a brother of the late Miss Abbie Converse of Cresco who died March 5, 1949.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
