WATERLOO — Oscar L. Mulder, 74, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 26, at Covenant Medical Center emergency room of natural causes.

He was born Oct. 31, 1936, in Butler County, son of Gezinus and Grace Rops Mulder. He married Kayla Peters on July 7, 1962, in Jesup.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a semi driver for New Hartford Elevator for several years, worked at Titus Manufacturing for 12 years and was manager of Insul-Sound for two years, before retiring.

Survived by his wife; a son, Bradley of Waterloo; a daughter, Lorinda "Lori" Mulder of Waterloo; a grandson, Lonzo Coleman Jr.; and two great-granddaughters, Shamara and Avona Coleman.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, John and George; and three sisters, Gertrude and Harmenia Mulder and Grace Alberts.

Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Poyner Township Cemetery. Public visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. today and an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
