LA PORTE CITY — Wiona I. Morrison, 88, of La Porte City, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, at La Porte City Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born April 13, 1922, in Jefferson Township, daughter of Artemus W. and Pearl C. Miller Lange. She married Martin L. Morrison on Jan. 3, 1942, in La Porte City. He died in June 1993. She married Parker Dickerson in 2001. He died in March 2002.

Mrs. Morrison was a homemaker and a foster parent for 15 years.

Survived by: three sons, Ronald (Betty), William "Bill" (Karen) and Bob, all of La Porte City; a daughter, Reta (Kenneth) Bronner of Cresco; five grandchildren, Jared (Michelle) Morrison, Janell (Jeff) Sides, Melissa (Chad) Purdy, Sandra (Keith) Buschmann and Kevin (Leah) Morrison; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Lois) Lange of La Porte City; and a sister, Gladys (Jerry) Weatherly of La Porte City.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, LaVonne "Bunny" Lange.

Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at West View Cemetery, La Porte City. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at La Porte City Funeral Service.
