WATERLOO - Margaret Reese Cooper, 68, of Waterloo, died Friday, Dec. 10, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born May 20, 1942, in Osceola, Ark., daughter of Frankie and Lelia Mae McIntosh McFarland. She married Dorsie Lee Cooper Jr. He died May 19, 2007.

Mrs. Cooper graduated from high school in Arkansas and retired as a medical technician at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

Survived by: four daughters, Gloria Jean Stewart and Renita Lynn Wise, both of Waterloo, Robin Renee (LeRoy) Stevenson of Bakersfield, Calif., and Geralene Reese of Springfield, Ill.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. Willie (Hattie) Boston of Springfield; and four sisters, Cleo Jefferson, Magalene Daniels and Maria (James) Ware, all of Springfield, and Constance Miller of Las Vegas.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Rachel Meyers; and two brothers, Alonzo Burks and Rayford Davis.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greer Funeral Home, with burial in Shaulis Road Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
